Calm #promptday21 #glopowrimo

on

(Today’s prompt is to choose an abstract noun from a given list and then use that as the title for a poem that contains very short lines, and at least one invented word.)

How calm

you were

the day

you died,

watching me

running

pillar to post

getting untied

getting

things done,

things that were

a waste of time.

(Would you

have rather

I stopped

and sat by your side?)

Were you sad?

maybe?

to say

farewell?

To be leaving

This earth

you loved

so well?

Or did

you smile,

“see you, punctling,

at your peril!”?

(Or would you

have rather,

I stopped

talked, sweet and gentle?)

Punctling: punctilious darling

  2. This is like a thriller movie. It has lots of elements to it. It also has a story.
