Bio: mother, dreamer, lawyer, poet, blogger, writer....jack of many trades....inter alia. Ipsita Banerjee is a lawyer who practices in the High Court at Calcutta. She did her primary school education at Modern High School for Girls, Calcutta and obtained her law degree from Symbiosis Law College, Pune. A mother of two restless and irrepressible young girls who think they know everything, Ipsita is used to juggling many roles at the same time and writes only because she loves to. She is an intermittent blogger of prose (www.asliverofmoonbeam.blogspot.com) and odds and ends including verse (www.ipsitabanerjee.com) and her twitter handle is @ipsyb. Ipsita has two books to her credit, "A sliver of moon beam", a collection of essays, stories and poems and "Footprints", a novel. Her new collection of poems entitled "Eating the worm" have been published in November 2017. Her poems have been published and various anthologies both in India and abroad and is currently her preferred medium of thought! She lives in Calcutta comfortably settled in the heart of a large family.
